Backup Plan
The only way to prepare for the unexpected is to have a good backup strategy in place. Hardware failure, theft, natural disaster, and accidental deletion are only some of the ways that businesses can lose their data. There are many methods for backing up a company’s files, and we take pride in providing tools to achieve fast recovery for most data loss scenarios.
Common backup methods that we use:
– Mirror Backups create a mirror copy of the source data. When a source file is deleted, the corresponding file is also deleted in the mirror backup automatically.
– Full Backups capture your entire system and all the data you want to protect. Frequent full backups result in easier recovery operations.
– Incremental Backups capture only the changes made since the last incremental backup. This saves both time and storage space, and ensures that your backup is up to date.
– Differential Backups capture only the changes made since the last full backup, not since the last differential backup.
– Clone Bootable Drive Backups make a complete copy of your computer’s primary hard drive. If the computer’s primary drive fails to boot, connect the cloned drive and reboot your computer, you’ll have immediate access to your computer and all of the software you use.
We offer several backup destinations depending on your company’s demands:
External Hard Drive: portable and comparatively less expensive.
Cloud Storage: secure offsite storage, files remain safe & accessible at any time.
Network Attached Storage (NAS): secure onsite storage accessible from your network as well as remotely.
